🎃 Dottie’s Family Market Trunk or Treat! 👻
Important Event Information, Parking Instructions & Safety Guidelines
We are excited to welcome everyone to Dottie’s Family Market for our FREE Trunk or Treat event! 🍬🎃
We are expecting a great turnout and want to make sure everyone has a fun, safe, and enjoyable experience. Please take a few minutes to review the following information before arriving.
🚗 ENTRANCE, PARKING & EXIT
Event Entrance:
- All vehicles must enter through the Greenhouse parking lot entrance located off Bull Road.
- General event parking will be located in the field adjacent to the greenhouse.
- Staff members wearing yellow safety vests will be stationed throughout the parking area to direct vehicles. Please follow their instructions at all times.
- For everyone's safety, please drive slowly and watch for pedestrians, especially children.
Event Exit:
- The exit will be located at the top of the field, leading onto Canal Road.
- Please follow the designated traffic pattern and staff instructions when leaving.
- Do not attempt to exit through the event entrance unless directed by staff.
♿ Accessible Parking:
- Designated accessible parking will be available in the paved parking spaces in the Greenhouse parking lot.
- A valid handicap parking placard or license plate is required to use these spaces.
- Vehicles without the proper designation will be asked to move.
- Please leave these spaces available for guests who genuinely need them.
⚠️ Important Parking Information:
- Parking is permitted only in designated areas as directed by event staff.
- Anyone choosing to park outside the designated parking areas does so at their own risk.
- If the field reaches capacity, arriving vehicles will be asked to wait until parking spaces become available.
- Please do not block entrances, exits, driveways, emergency access routes, or other vehicles.
- We appreciate your patience as our team works to park everyone as safely and efficiently as possible.
🍬 TRUNK OR TREAT LINE & EVENT FLOW
- The Trunk or Treat line will begin along the right-hand side of the greenhouse and wrap around the front of the building.
- Event staff will be available to direct guests to the proper starting point.
- Please follow the designated line and avoid cutting through other areas of the event.
- Keep children with your group and be respectful of other families waiting in line.
- We anticipate the line moving fairly quickly this year and have worked to improve the flow of guests through the event.
We understand everyone is excited to get started! We simply ask for your patience and cooperation as our staff and volunteers work to keep the line moving as quickly and safely as possible.
🌮 FOOD TRUCKS & RESTROOMS
- Food trucks will be located at the front of the greenhouse.
- Food and beverages will be available for purchase from participating vendors.
- An ADA-accessible restroom will be located near the food truck area.
- Please dispose of trash in the designated receptacles to help us keep the property clean.
👨👩👧👦 FAMILY-FRIENDLY EVENT GUIDELINES
This is a FREE community event designed to provide a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for children and families.
To help make that possible, we ask everyone to follow a few simple guidelines:
- Keep it family-friendly. Please refrain from profanity, vulgar language, yelling, aggressive behavior, or inappropriate conduct. There will be many young children in attendance.
- Respect our staff and volunteers. They are donating their time and working hard to make this event successful. Verbal abuse or harassment will not be tolerated.
- Children must be supervised. Parents and guardians are responsible for their children throughout the event.
- Service animals only. For the safety and comfort of our guests, pets are not permitted. Trained service animals are welcome.
- No running through parking areas. Please use caution when walking between parked vehicles.
- Be considerate of others. Please allow everyone an opportunity to enjoy the event and collect treats.
- Follow staff instructions. Our team may adjust lines, parking, or pedestrian traffic as needed for safety.
- Costumes are encouraged! However, please avoid costume accessories or props that could create a safety hazard.
- Please be mindful of allergies. Parents and guardians should check all treats before allowing children to consume them.
Dottie’s Family Market reserves the right to ask anyone engaging in unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior to leave the event.
