Dear YoungPeople. The world makes life sound complicated, but the best life is actually built on a very simple foundation.
If you want to be happy, follow the straight path:
The Simple Map to a Good Life
Work hard. Find pride in what you do.
Get married. Find someone to walk through life with.
Lay down roots. Stop running and start building a home.
Build a family. Give your love a place to grow.
Never lie. A clear conscience is the best pillow.
Honor your parents. They gave you life; give them your respect.
Pray often. Remember that you aren’t the center of the universe.
You don’t need to “find yourself” in the woods or in a screen. Joy isn’t a mystery or a secret code. It’s found in the simple, honest things we’ve been doing for thousands of years. Just do the work, love your people, and stay true.
