Celebrating Cas & Kyle!
This wedding was such a special one for The Vibrant Petal, as I had the honor of being the on-site venue florist for their beautiful celebration at the Paramount Meyer Ballroom.

I absolutely loved their sunset sorbet color palette and getting to incorporate fresh fruit throughout the floral designs. I used a combination of my own locally grown flowers alongside carefully sourced flowers to bring their vision together.

A few little glimpses I captured from the day. I can’t wait to see the professional photos and all of the beautiful moments!

A beautiful garden party hosted by Bethany Mullen and Weeks Financial Group. Guests were able to create their own take-home bouquets using locally grown flowers from The Vibrant Petal, along with our flower bar rental set up.

So many beautiful bouquets came together, and I’m so excited to finally share our flower bar rental in action. A fun way to bring a little creativity and locally grown flowers to any event.

A special way to celebrate a milestone birthday for Mary! Megan and her siblings surprised their mom for her 70th birthday with an in-home pressed flower frame class — a fun afternoon of creating together and making something she can enjoy for years to come.

It’s always so fun to see everyone create their own masterpiece. The kids even joined in and made their own unique and amazing pieces.

I also brought along a home grown floral arrangement from my garden for Mary to add to the celebration.

Celebrating Jake and Angelica’s beautiful wedding day!
High school sweethearts, Jake and Angelica have been together for 11 years and celebrated with the family and friends who have supported them throughout their journey.

Their wedding at Whitetail Ridge Golf Club in Yorkville was filled with love, laughter, and so many special moments.

I loved creating matching his and hers keepsake frames using her beautiful all-white wedding florals and his boutonniere to preserve a piece of their day forever.

My first cut flower market with Dean’s Greens is in the books. So grateful I got to share my locally grown flowers with such a wonderful community. Even after being cut, the flowers were still bringing joy — the bees kept stopping by to visit them too. The extra flowers found a second home and were donated to a local Yorkville senior living community to brighten someone else’s day.

Some flowers are too special to leave tucked away.Tetyana’s bouquet from May 2019, when she married Bart at Bridgeport Art Center, had already been dried and cherished for years.

I was able to give those flowers a forever home in a custom shadow box, protecting them and preserving the details of her wedding day for years to come.

The remaining pieces of her bouquet were transformed into a keepsake ornament using her bouquet ribbon — another small piece of that special day that she can bring out year after year.

It’s meaningful to take flowers that have already carried memories and create something that allows those moments to continue being part of a story.

I loved creating these four preserved flower Christmas ornaments from Grace’s wedding bouquet from their beautiful day at The Haight The Haight.

One ornament is especially meaningful because it includes Grace’s “something blue” handkerchief from her wedding day.
