It's almost soup season!! 🍲 (although I'll eat a good soup any time of the year 😋) Grab these adorable vintage soup mugs from my booth this week, and then check out my very favorite baked potato soup recipe 🥔 that I have been making for almost 20 years. I tore the recipe out of a Southern Living magazine, gave it a try, and now it's one of my family's very favorite meals. 🙌 Here are my notes: I use regular chicken broth, I never add chives, and I use an immersion blender to make a smooth soup. Before I had the immersion blender, I would put it in a regular blender in batches to get it smoothed out. If you have a potato masher, that could work just as well I think. Top with any of those things at the bottom of the ingredient list that you love. It is yummy heated up the next day, too! Food Lion makes a really good bag of french bread rolls that is so delicious heated up and eaten with this soup. If you try this recipe, let me know how you liked it! 😊
