📣Tucker was never supposed to make it—yet today he’s thriving with his new family in NY. 💗Two months ago, someone put a handgun to the back of his head and pulled the trigger. 🥲

Somehow, Tucker moved—just enough to survive. When he ran, they shot him again - this time from behind - leaving the bullet lodged in his shoulder and leaving a devastating trail of damage through his sinuses and epiglottis.

When Tucker was finally found, he had been wandering for days—confused, badly injured, and suffering from severe infection. When rescuer Keri Toth learned about him, she drove three hours round trip to give this sweet boy a chance and reached out to us for help with his medical care.

Thanks to our incredible supporters, we were able to say yes immediately. After emergency treatment and hospitalization, doctors discovered his epiglottis had been shattered, making even eating and drinking a daily struggle.

Through unwavering dedication by the U CARE Project, round-the-clock care, and a carefully managed feeding plan, Tucker began gaining weight and rebuilding his strength—proving that love can outfight cruelty. 💗
