It has been a long time since I've posted thanks to this adorable new member of the WILD family. Come visit us today at North Bay Park in Ypsilanti for the Rosie the Riveter Craft Show. Booth 49, 10am-4pm.

Day 18: Eco
These eco-friendly reusable water balloons are one of my best sellers in the summer. Just soak in water and they can be thrown again and again with no waste or plastic bits to clean up. It's getting time for me to stock up on these again.

Day 11: Workshop companion/assistant
Working from home during the day and crocheting at night, I am never without my 3 dogs or my wonderful husband. Houdini, Rosie, and Ellie are wonderful snuggly companions despite promoting procrastination and getting dog fur everywhere. Andy however is a wonderful assistant, often dropping shipments at the post office or making me coffee during long busy days.

Day 7: What's in a name/logo?
When I first turned my yarn hobby into a business, I wanted a name that reflected my art's focus on animals and eco-friendly products as well as my creativity in creating new things without being pigeonholed into a specific craft or type of product. Naming is hard though; I even struggle to name variables in my code.
I settled on WILD4designs because it captured the "wild" of animals, but also any "wildly" creative art. The designs could be new crochet patterns, but also any creative work can be a design.
My logo was designed by my wonderfully talented sister-in-law.

Day 3 of by - Top Tip

My top tip is something I am still working on; saying "no". Sometimes when running a business you have too much on your plate, or you receive an outrageous request from a prospective customer. By default, I always want to say "yes" and make people happy, but sometimes saying "no" will save your sanity and keep customers happier in the end.

My progress for the week. I didn't finish as many hats as I had hoped but more plushes than I planned. Working on a few more tonight to add to my booth in the morning.
I am loving my new large tweed plushes made with Bernat Velvet Twist yarn.
