Here’s some more of the new books I’ll be bringing to Ypsi Pride on Sunday Aug 30!

Some brief summaries of a few:

Hello Sunshine by Keezy Young deals with a magical coming of age story complicated by schizophrenia! Gorgeous visuals and tender characters are highlighted here.

Fun Home by Alison Bechdel got a new release with sprayed edges and looked too cool not to carry. If you haven’t read it (or don’t own it), here’s a great chance.

Oooo these are some of my favorite comics - and two decks of cards! A sexy game and tarot!

Sweatgasm by Archie Bongiovanni is a game I never expected to be printed by a company because it’s a deck of trauma-informed sexy truth & dare cards. It is quite spicy for midwestern folks but great for the imagination and communication.

This Might Help oracle/tarot deck is a companion to the This Might Hurt tarot, both by Isabella Rotman, a Chicago based artist.

Black Arms to Hold You Up: A History of Black Resistance by Ben Passmore is a beautifully illustrated one that covers some important US history thru the lens of time travel.

The Demon of Beausoleil is a gay romp in a Victorian-like era with a demon exorcist and his bodyguard. Will they won’t they…>_>

And last but not least: the Annotated Gender Q***r by Maia Kobabe. This a great read for anyone who loved the original, which managed to be the most banned book for multiple years in a row. This annotated editions includes eir thoughts on its production and reception.
