๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ผ๐บ๐ฒ ๐๐ฎ๐บ๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐๐ธ๐ถ (1914โ2004) was an American surrealist painter who spent most of his working life in Ann Arbor.
Here he is in his studio, telling the story of an unexpected run-in with Frank Lloyd Wright.
He's at the Guggenheim in a business suit borrowed from his father-in-law, waiting for his wife, a copy of the Herald Tribune in his pocket. Wright breaks away from the museum's acting director, corners him, and demands to know whether he's there to cover his story.

An exhibition of his work opens at Schmidt's Michigan Art Gallery in Ypsilanti on November 20 and runs through December.
