You can choose from the world's finest names in perfumes, cosmetics, skin care, jewelry, watches, spirits, to***co, figurines, Caribbean gifts and more; all within one of the islands' most elegant and historic settings. Located in a series of beautifully restored 19th century Danish warehouses in downtown Charlotte Amalie, the A.H. Riise Mall is a destination for all visitors to St. Thomas. For your shopping convenience, A.H. Riise Mall offers two restaurants, Café Amici, an open-air Italian bistro and Calypso Café sandwich and coffee shop. All of our mall stores have knowledgeable and courteous staff, dedicated to providing exceptional customer service. A family-owned business, A.H. Riise is also a company rich in island history and tradition. The company first opened its doors as the A.H. Riise Apothecary in 1838, when Albert Heinrich Riise became Denmark’s official dispenser of pharmaceuticals to St. The Riise family owned and operated the pharmacy for seventy-six years. In 1913, the Riise holdings were sold to Olaf Poulsen, a Copenhagen pharmacist, and in 1928 to the Paiewonsky-Cassinelli family, who own the company today. While there have been many changes at A.H. Riise over the past 177 years, the same dedication to quality, value and exceptional customer service that were hallmarks of the A.H. Riise Apothecary in the early 1800s continue today.
