🌟 Kimberly Creations – Cricut & Sublimation Tip of the Day 🌟

Mirror Before You Press! 👕
One of the most common mistakes beginners make is forgetting to mirror their design before printing for sublimation or using Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV).

✅ Mirror your design when: • Using sublimation paper • Using Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV) • Applying a design to fabric

❌ Do NOT mirror your design when: • Using adhesive vinyl for mugs, tumblers, windows, or signs • Making stickers • Cutting cardstock or paper crafts

💡 Pro Tip: Before sending your design to your printer or Cricut, ask yourself: "Will this design be flipped onto the project?" If the answer is yes, mirror it first!

Taking just a few extra seconds can save you paper, ink, vinyl, and frustration.

Understanding Cricut Materials

One of the biggest keys to successful Cricut projects is choosing the right material setting. Every material cuts differently, and using the correct setting can save both time and supplies.

✨ Here are a few beginner favorites:

🌿 Cardstock – Great for cards, gift tags, and paper flowers.
✨ Permanent Vinyl – Best for mugs, tumblers, signs, and other long-lasting projects.
💛 Removable Vinyl – Perfect for walls, temporary decorations, and practice projects.
👕 Iron-On (HTV) – Designed for T-shirts, tote bags, aprons, and fabric items.
🎁 Sticker Paper – Ideal for planners, labels, and custom stickers.

💡 Beginner Tip: Before cutting your final design, always do a small test cut. It can save you from wasting an entire sheet of material!
