🧺🐾🚨 We need your help with a very unglamorous but essential shelter need… LAUNDRY! 💦🧼

Between the dogs and cats in our care 🐶🐱, and the animals we treat through our clinic 🩺, we go through a staggering amount of laundry every single day — towels, sheets, blankets, bedding and cleaning cloths… load after load after load. 🌀

Our washing machines have worked hard, but they’re on their last legs, and we need to raise $1,100 for two new washers. 🙏

Clean laundry means so much more than fresh sheets. It means comfort for recovering animals ❤️‍🩹, clean bedding for puppies and kittens 🐾, sanitary conditions in our clinic 🧽, and a healthier shelter environment for the animals who depend on us.

It may not be glamorous, but it is absolutely vital. 💙

FREE SPAY/NEUTER Event on St. Croix. 🐾

The St. Croix Animal Welfare Center is once again partnering with Visiting Veterinarians International for our 4th year providing **FREE spay/neuter services** for owned pets and community dogs and cats. See link below to reserve a spot for your pet(s).

📍 155 Estate Castle Coakley
📅 March 11 – March 14
⏰ 8AM–3PM (stay with your pet)

Services include:
• Owned pets: Spay/Neuter + Microchip (FREE)
• Stray/Feral cats: Spay/Neuter + Eartip (FREE)

This life-saving surgery is valued at approximately $120 per animal, and prevents prevent unwanted litters, helps reduce stray populations, and improves overall community health.

⚠️ Important:
• DO NOT feed animals the morning of surgery.
• Dogs must be leashed or crated and muzzled if not people/dog friendly.
• Feral cats must be in traps. Owned cats must be in carriers or traps.
