OBJoff’s OBJects

Based in HCMC, Atelier Zeynep atelierdezeynep is a ceramic studio founded by ceramic artist Zeynep Nguyen 🏺 .

Alongside teaching pottery classes and workshops, Zeynep creates her own collection of handmade ceramics inspired by memory, myth and material.

She enjoys exploring textures and mineral surfaces while maintaining a sense of purity in form. The contrast between raw textures and simple shapes allows her pieces to feel both primitive and contemporary.

Each piece is handmade in her studio, combining functionality with a playful and sculptural approach to ceramics.

Established in 2023, “Ngài” is a fashion brand that explores the Viet q***r identity. The name is a double-entendre meaning both “sir” - a pronoun formally addressing a male of superior status and “moth” – a group of nocturnal insects that resembles butterfly. Ngài embodies the tension between opposing definitions: between masculinity and femininity, between the established power and the ephemeral myths. We shift fluidly across the grey areas of semantics,
culture, and gender; blur the binaries and make way for new expressions that are ambiguous, gender-defying, disruptive, and intimate. Through fashion, “Ngài” traces the unique experiences of q***rness and aspires to build a community that celebrates diversity and creative expressions.
