The videos are catching up with our progress and I’m so damn grateful for these🥹

Long story short, the frame-and-skin concept isn’t really working out, see video for the reasons, and we moved onto the second prototype and stay tuned to see wha happened then🙌🙌

Some problems I have towards the sample that the factory sent us - having the sewing machine made it easier to test this one, I’m planning on exploring more distinctly different concepts before we settle on one and diving deeper in that one🙌

Same as cooking, there are a lot of small trims and accessories that we need to finish before starting the production, to make sure everything goes smoothly and efficiently🙌

I mean I just got so many stuff to show you guys that the videos aren’t catching up!! The Messenjah sample video that is LONGGGG DUE and it’s finally here (partially) and definitely makes another serie because I have so many concepts to test and I’m planning to bring them all here!

The Extension Strap, or as I named it, Hoopah™ is finally here🎉🍾🥳
I mean it’s not a full on bag that we designed with our Designahs but I count it as a successful start! We gathered valuable opinions on the length and also the feature (I.e. the sunglasses hoop) we have on the Hoopah™ and to be honest with y’all, I’ve been carrying it every since I got the prototype with me😎

Hoopah™ is LIVE on our official website now so check it out before the stock runs out!🙌 We only made a limited batch🫶

After planning out the patterns properly, it’s time to execute flawlessly. This means cutting the fabric to the required length precisely, stack them up perfectly, hold them down and cut out the patterns with just enough buffer in-between every piece. This process gives us the reliable ingredients we need to enter the next step!🍳🍳

I know we got comments suggesting a shoulder pad but with the amount of projects we have on hand, I think a strap for a bag sized like the Slingah doesn’t make too much sense to prioritise it before the other designs, WILL DEF work on it tho

Like cooking a meal, prepping the patterns properly before cutting the fabric is crucial as it not only contributes to the overall costs of the process, it also affects how every piece of fabric interacts with each other.
