Did you know your skin type changes how your perfume smells?

If you’ve ever sampled a fragrance on a friend and loved it, only to buy it and realize it smells completely different on you—you aren't crazy! It’s all about your skin chemistry.
Oily Skin: Holds onto fragrance much longer. The natural oils bind to the scent notes, making sweet or intense perfumes smell even stronger.
Dry Skin: Absorbs the alcohol and oils faster, causing the scent to evaporate quickly.

If your perfume disappears by lunchtime, dry skin is usually the culprit!

Pro-Tip: If you have dry skin, apply an unscented lotion or a touch of petroleum jelly to your pulse points before spraying. It gives the perfume oils something to lock onto!
