So we are at the 5th month at this point. I have spent 30 grand so far for the following. Her attorneys and the consolations, her bills here at home, and her bills in detention. Bills like commissary, food, tampons, medicines, clothing, hobbies, books, movies to watch. I even pay for a tablet for her to use. Thats for her to communicate with family and me, which is a lot of stupid money. Communication is important. It’s what keeps us on the same page and let her know that she’s not alone in this. She is important and thought off. I do not want her to feel forgotten about. So at the six month point coming up around the corner, I can file for habeas corpus. And then if lucky, maybe have to pay a bond. I will need some more help to get me over this last bit of the hump, which could hopefully get her home. This has wiped all my savings out. I am selling a lot of my personal guitar collection and things to simplify my life and pay the bills. Not even knowing if habeas corpus is going to get her home. It’s a gamble. One that I have to take that chance. I hate to ask, but I need your help. Everybody. This is the hardest moment ever in our lives. I am embarrassed to even ask for help. I dont want to lose my shop and studio, everything we have worked for. I have faith in me that i wont. But this is so unfair. This is all over three Xanax pills and a staw found in her car in 2008. And she’s never been in trouble in the 17 years since. She pays taxes she works her ass off and she’s a positive member of society, she is American. Even though she was born in Cuba she’s been in this country longer than she knows her old country of birth.
She is a permanent resident of the USA.

Dear customers & friends. The shops unfortunately will be closed for a few days.
Wayne is currently having emergency surgery for what we believe is a serious hernia issue.
They won’t know for sure until they can see exactly what the problem is.

Please bear with us as we work through this difficult time. Mom is in the hospital, hopefully recovering. Dad is at home needing home care. Now Wayne is in the hospital. Of course Yami is stuck where she is. Still trying to get her home. And I am back in Virginia about ready to turn around and head back. I have my hands full for sure. Thank you for all your prayers and well wishes. We’re gonna get through this. We appreciate your love and support. Art (aka Artie)
