EARTH DAY at the CONSERVATORY! Wednesday, April 22, 6-8pm.
Make sure to attend! We'll be there with our seeds. :)
From the City's media release:
A community event is offering residents the chance to mark Earth Day at the Centennial Botanical Conservatory this Wednesday, learning about environmental issues while celebrating the natural world in a beautiful setting.

Running from 6-8pm, the free, family-friendly Earth Day celebration will feature activities designed to engage, educate, and inspire community members around climate action and environmental stewardship.

Attendees can take in a screening of The Lorax, explore the Conservatory through guided tours, browse a seed sale, participate in hands-on art activities, and connect with organizations and individuals working on sustainability initiatives in the region.

The event is hosted by the Northwest Climate Gathering, in partnership with the City of Thunder Bay and Lakehead University.

“Earth Day is an opportunity to connect as a community and reflect on how we can all take action to protect our planet,” said Danielle Slongo, Climate Action Specialist with the City of Thunder Bay. “This event creates space for people of all ages to learn, engage, and be inspired by local climate action efforts.”

Earth Day is celebrated annually around the world on April 22, raising awareness and encouraging action to protect the environment.
