VMN took its final flight from Mudgee to Bathurst today, before it changes hands with its new owners. So many incredible memories made in this plane, and I will miss her a lot. Thankfully I captured a lot of those memories in videos and photos, so that’ll keep me going for a few years until I get myself back into another one.

Saying I’m lucky to be able to do this is an understatement. Some of you would know that my beloved Cessna 206 (Victor Mike November or VMN) has been sold due to some changes in my work commitments (I own a printing company called Print Storm just in case you want to check it out).

I simply haven’t got the time at the moment to justify owning such an expensive aircraft, or to get in the air anywhere near enough. So, quite sadly, I made the decision to take a temporary hiatus, with plans to return in a few years. I’ll still retain my licence, and will still be flying, but unfortunately it won’t be in my own plane. I’ll be missing her dearly, but some things in life can’t always be exactly the way you want them.

For anyone that’s wondering, I have a whole series of photos in my collection that I’ve never posted, so for those of you following to see the content from the air, don’t worry, there’ll still be plenty more, and I’ll be sure to share new stuff whenever I get a chance to fly in the meantime!

Sadly, due to increased work commitments (and more kids!) my aviation life has to take a temporary back seat. For those aviation enthusiasts within the group, this is for you, or for any of your friends that may have an interest in an incredible six seater Cessna 206. As a former NSW Police Force surveillance aircraft, it has been extremely well looked after and is in immaculate condition! This has been a very emotional decision, but it’s the right one for now. Don’t worry, though, I’ll be posting photos and videos still!
