I found an old half-done wallhanging last weekend. I’ve not done one of these for ages, but hauled out the stash of and beads, and been grabbing spare moments this week frantically embellishing it. It’s got real sparkle now!

Just time to neaten up its back and create a hanging loop, so I hope to have it on my stall tomorrow for Yateley Arts & Crafts Market

More local craft fair prep from holiday makes…. And one of them matches a pair from that pile of earrings I finished the other night!

‘Spare’ time, at cooler moments over the last few days, has involved making up 15 pairs of earrings from the I’ve made in the last 3 months.

These are now nearly ready for Yateley Arts & Crafts Market this Saturday, and then anything unsold will be available online.

Creative holiday news! I have made buttons for earrings with stash I brought with me, whilst relaxing in front of a stunning view, AND found awesome craft shops in the town we're staying near. Bonus pic of tonight's sunset!

Threads galore including some thicknesses I'd not met near home, but there must be thousands of miles of fabric for the quilting enthusiasts.

had to be visited for its name alone; Jen is lovely, has a raft of interesting things including pre-loved stuff, and was selling some old style Colinette stash; she also has an adorable old dog.

May re-visit both before heading home!

Real actual buttoning has taken place sporadically at best. So I did an audit of on Saturday and found this lot, so made a start on finishing them ready to put the findings on. Finished them this evening, but it’s too hot in craft room to do the last bit of wiring hooks, so that will have to wait.

Things are very busy in the family right now, but a wet afternoon has produced buttons for a couple of pairs of earrings. I've found several recently which I need to finish, so hopefully a gradual increase in output may be starting.

This where I’ll be next Saturday as Yateley Arts & Crafts Market restarts for the new season. There’s always excellent cakes on offer too, and it’s a great way to wind down after a walk up on Blackbushe (or to hide from the rain!)

Completed another set of buttons, this time in Perle cotton and for the cardigan my friend knitted me in a slightly different shade of purple. Having pancake-partied at church, I’ve sewn them on tonight, ready to keep me warm between Ash Wednesday services tomorrow.

Detailed photos to help anyone wanting to put similar on a garment; I make a loop on the back of each button which enables them to be sewn on with wool that matches the cardi, being careful to get them in the right places to fit the button-holes.
