DON'T TELL THE DNR!!

We recently acquired some flamingos with the help of The Silly String! According to the Migratory Bird Treaty Act: it is illegal to hunt, capture, harm, or possess flamingos in the state of Minnesota.

But if you promise to take good care of them then we promise to look the other way 🤫
(Disclaimer to all the DNR officers who shop with us, we love you guys and would NEVER ❤️)

TL:DR - SALE

What's up, fish nerds? I got a bunch of tanks in stock right now, but I'm looking to standardize the stock and make room for some cooler ones. From October 6 through October 13 all new and used aquariums and AIO kits are gonna be 20% off; if you've been planning on starting a new setup, now is the perfect time to grab one! 🐟

Not exactly aquarium related, and I don't often plug other businesses unless I feel passionately about them, but like me, I know a lot of you guys and gals love catching fish as much as you love keeping fish. My buddy (who many of you might already know from the shop) recently started this project creating locally made, handcrafted lures out of Perham Minnesota and it took off; I keep seeing displays of these things pop up in all the local sporting goods shops. They're dope, durable, and a dang decent design, too. All metal, each with a unique powder coat, and every one comes in a cool little glass cork top bottle. You all know we got ice fishing season right around the corner, and I can already tell theres gonna be one at the end of every rattle reel this winter to bring in more of those big walleyes. Proud of you, brother. Keep up the good work. 👍 Lokke Tackle Co

It was a unique pleasure to have Dads Fishroom surprise us with a visit recently. If you guys haven't given his page a like and a follow yet, I definitely recommend it. It's important for us, as hobbyists first and foremost, to connect with the Mom and Pop stores in our area and help keep the community thriving. Much love to every other local fish shop, and the individuals who make the magic happen. 🤙

Just giving everyone a heads up, we will be closed Monday, September 7th for Labor Day! We've been working our fins, feathers, and fingers off to make the shop better all the time and it's a great excuse for us to go handle some non-aquarium fish out on the lake! 😄 We'll see you guys again Tuesday at opening!

Heard there was a new shop up in Fargo, Into The Sea, so I went up there ready to start a donnybrook 😠 The owner, Dustin, was too good looking and his shop was too nice. Really got my blood boiling seeing such a well laid out reef shop, so after eating some of his complimentary baked goods and buying a beautiful firefish we took things outside to discuss the finer points of the hobby like gentlemen.

I've been gone too long! Went down to Shakopee this last weekend to nerd out at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival. I appreciate everyone who came in over the past few days being patient with Elsa while she gets her feet wet, and the words of support you left for her crushing it when things got busy. If you guys came in with questions for me specifically, feel free to reach out on Messenger and you can pick my brain any time.

In other news: Oh fer cute, wouldja just look at that? I was hoping to catch the first ones emerging, but I was a day late to witness the hatching of our Axo-littles! We'll try to take updated photos as they develop and publish it to our stories.

Trowbridge Creek Zoo needs your help! Dusty is the GOAT. It's people like this that inspire people like us to do what we do. We are asking the community to come together and get the word out. Load up the family and go support your local zoo before the season ends!
