Our bean to bar chocolate is made from scratch using premium single origin cacao beans. We carefully handcraft small batches of chocolate that make you go 'ohhhh!' and 'yummm!' in our workshop located on the southern tip of Vancouver Island.

After waiting and waiting and waiting (knowing patience is certainly a virtue), we received boxes for our newest bar: Oh My! Orange! 🥳

While our other dark bars are 75% cocoa, this bar is 70%. Why? Well, we initially experimented with 75% orange but found that the higher cocoa percentage muted the orange flavour. So we decreased cocoa percentage to 70 … and, voila, we found our newest creation!

For the orange flavour, we add an orange extract from organic oranges, added to a base of organic sunflower oil. That’s it. Absolutely no cane alcohol or any other ingredients. Our orange flavour is succulent. Juicy. Yum. Yum. Yum! 😋

Like our other dark bars, Oh My! Orange! is dairy/soy/gluten/nut free. Healthy and decadent … this is how we make our chocolate 🍫❤️🍁.

Two of our best selling bars are:

Caramel Sea Salt: 48% milk chocolate + caramel + sea salt
Island Sea Salt: 75% dark chocolate + sea salt

We source our sea salt from Vancouver Island Sea Salt based in Black Creek, BC; about a three hour drive north of Victoria. We have no doubt that an integral part of the appeal of these two chocolate bars is the sea salt.

The salt begins with seawater sourced from Vancouver Island’s Pacific coastline, where some of the fastest moving tidal currents in the world continuously renew the water from which salt is harvested.

With the mad (as in loopy) government south of our border implementing tariffs on many Canadian products, Vancouver Island Sea Salt is negatively affected, as near 20% of its revenue is derived from sales to the USA.

So this post is our attempt to support a local Canadian business that produces delicious salt; and to encourage you to buy your sea salt from Vancouver Island Sea Salt next time your pantry runs low. Thank goodness we live in Canada, eh?! 😁🧂🍫🍁

We make all of our chocolate with 3 primary ingredients: cocoa beans, cocoa butter, cane sugar. All organic and non-GMO. Ethically sourced.

And we shout from the mountain top that we never use any additives, preservatives, ‘natural’ flavouring, or anything else that doesn’t belong in good, healthy food.

We make chocolate the way it is meant to be made. And the result? Well, you be the judge 😋🍫❤️!

We use raspberries from to craft our 75% dark raspberry bar.

While many chocolate makers use raspberry oil, we much, MUCH prefer real raspberries sourced on Vancouver Island. Simply because the flavour makes you smile, and gush, and say, Oh My Goodness!

We recently partnered with Purple Carrot Health Foods, a Lethbridge, Alberta, based Health Food store that truly cares about people, community, our planet. No wonder that their business continues growing, as more and more people embrace healthy living and nourishing foods.

We have been invited to host a chocolate tasting/learning/savouring event at the South Cowichan Lawn Tennis Club on Friday, July 31.

So, we’re planning to take the day off from our typical chocolate making responsibilities, and drive about 45 minutes north of Victoria on the Trans-Canada Hwy to beautiful Cowichan Bay where we will gather together with a large group of tennis players after their morning matches.

And we will talk about all things chocolate, share our chocolate and nibs (the part of the cocoa bean that, with a magic wand wave or two, turns into chocolate), and maybe even venture onto the court afterward! 🎾🍫

Now for the not so subtle pitch or, more appropriately, lob 😁: if you’re interested in your own private chocolate tasting event, kindly reach out and we’ll do our best to make it happen!

, located in the Cadboro Bay neighbourhood of Victoria, is hosting their 14th annual Local Island Showcase on Thursday, July 9, 10 am - 2 pm.

Along with near 50 other Vancouver Island and Gulf Islands food producers, we’ve been invited to share our chocolate with all who attend. And the bonus, so we’re told, is that Pepper’s will be offering special pricing on our bars, as advertised in their soon to be released weekly flyer 🍫🥳.

Independent and family owned, Pepper’s is hugely supportive of small local business. They were one of the first grocery stores to carry our chocolate, more than 2.5 years ago.

Here on Vancouver Island, we are fortunate to have so many amazing food producers, and to have grocers like Pepper’s support our producers, and share our products with the community ❤️😊.

Hello Lethbridge, AB!

Partnering with the wonderful people at , your go to Health and Wellness store, we’re thrilled that our chocolate will soon be available to Lethbridge residents 😁!

How soon? Well, because our magic wand is on the fritz, thus denying us the ability to transcend time and space, we are relying on a courier service to ship our chocolate from Victoria to Lethbridge, and expect it to arrive just in time for the weekend. Exciting! ❤️🍁🍫
