ng silver with my glass art. Recently my fascination with Argentium silver has enabled me to create hoops( I really love hoop earrings), pendants and chains. Making chains from scratch is like meditating with metal. I have found my greatest pleasure working with metal and glass. Using movement, balance, delicacy in my designs in silver allows me to design unique contemporary jewelry.. I really enjoy fabricating silver jewelry. I have always had a passion for Art Deco and now working in silver I am including some designs that reflect that. I make many of the components of my jewelry including some of the bails, ear wires and clasps. I like my earring wires to be a certain shape and length and making them myself is part of the fun. We have moved to the Mendocino coast and live a very sustainable life. I try to make my jewelry both wearable and convenient. If I offer earrings with niobium ear wires and you would prefer sterling silver ear wires, just write me a note. All sterling silver that I use is Argentium and it is recycled and eco-friendly. Argentium is actually 930 pure and have a tiny bit of copper and therefore is hypo allergenic. Most stering silver is .925 and copper is frequently used for the other 7%. Copper can cause some allergic response and it tarnished easily. I NEVER use plated silver for ear wires or earrings or pendants. Contact me with questions.
