Trying to photograph the kids or your pet, but every picture looks hazy?

Start with the outside of the camera. Gently wipe the lens with a clean microfibre cloth. Remove any case or accessory that blocks the camera or places a magnet near it, then take a test photo in good light.

On an iPhone, compare the front and rear cameras. If one stays blurry after these checks—especially after a drop—it’s worth having it assessed.

The bars show the connection to your router—not a guarantee that the internet is working.

Try another device on the same Wi-Fi, with mobile data switched off for the test. Check more than one website. If every device is affected, check your provider’s outage notice. If only the laptop has trouble, save your work and restart it.

Check the cable’s supported wattage and features, not only the connector shape.

Phone not charging properly?

A common cause is compacted pocket lint inside the charging port. It can stop the cable from sitting fully in place, causing slow or intermittent charging.

Before replacing the port, try a known-good cable and adaptor. Avoid using metal tools or liquid to clean the port—the small contacts can be easily damaged.

If the connection still feels loose or gets unusually warm, it is worth having the port checked properly.
