www.greasetrapsystems.com An additional feature of the grease trap is the solids strainer basket which will collect solids greater than 2mm and effectively remove these from the waste stream. The basket is located in the inlet chamber of the grease trap and can be simply lifted out for the contents to be tipped into the trash bin. Fine silts that pass the basket are flushed through the grease trap or if they settle out they can be easily removed by operating the self closing silt valve for ten seconds or so each day.
