Double V

Double V DoubleV is short for VuurVlinder (meaning FireButterfly in Dutch. I give creative workshop using many craft mediums but Powertex and wool art are my favourites.

I got diagnosed in January 2012 with breast cancer spread in lymph nodes. I had a mastectomy followed with chemo- and radiotherapy. I lost my spark but found it back by creating beautiful things. I have been selling my products online and a fairs and have giving thousands to FACT (fighting All Cancers Together) a north east cancer charity in the UK. I have now set up my own business giving workshops in wet felting, needle felting (specialist in making wool fairies, and Powertex workshops.
