Unfortunately SUPER CAST and LEGENDS LEGACY SERIES don't want to supply HOOKED on ANGLING anymore cause we are operating from home. HOOKED on ANGLING also stocks a variety of feed with p

roducts from BOULYN , HOOKIT etc. We also stock terminal tackle like hooks, swivels, sinkers, line etc. We also cater for the Specimen Angler with particals, ready-made rigs and Jackel specimen tackle. We also cater for the Bass Angler with a variety of lures, bass rods and reels.

We fished Waterside Haven Resort also known as the R50 Dam yesterday.

We decided to fish the middle dam again as I blanked it the last time.

It has a hot day, I even had to take off my "Outoppie Vessie" 😉

My son was in 1st with a barbel of 4.7kg.

I had 2 reel runs. Lost the 1st one but managed to land a nice 3.05kg carp late afternoon

I fished Arrie Se Dam yesterday

I dressed warm as one would in winter but during th day I started sweating like Julius Mkwanazi at the Mahlanga Commission.

I landed 5 Carp

I fished a winter club comp at Kees - Vaaldam on Saturday.

I made it to the venue with the grace from above and with a few skid marks in my underpants because I could hardly see anything in front of me with the fog on the road. I made a mistake and sprayed my windows with the wiper fluid which iced up my windows 🫣

The rods were dead quiet until 10:00 a.m. because then the fog started to lift and my feet "defrosted" in my waders.

I had 3 fish in the net at weigh-in but couldn't weigh them because the cold effected the scale as it didn't want to work. We could only get points for the number of fish which still gave me a 1st place among the Masters.

Combo 1:
•JULIASS, KIANA SPRAY & sq**rt PAINT SPRAY on the bomb

Hook bait:
•2 KIANA OOZING FLOATIES
•KARIBA WORM with a DREK OOZING FLOATY and small SWD above the Worm

Combo 2:
•ANABATIC, AGMED and a sq**rt PAINT SPRAY on the bomb

Hook bait:
•2 KIANA OOZING FLOATIES
•KARIBA WORM with a BASS + FLOATY (which I made myself) and a small SWD above the worm

Feed:
•3 x cups LL SIGNATURE SERIES GROUND FEED mixed with half a cup LL SIGNATURE SERIES FEEDER FEED and half a cup LL SIGNATURE SERIES GRIT with 1 and a half of cups water.

Distances:
•Deep rod - Open spool
•Shallow rod - 60m to 70m (changed do deep rod later on as the short rod had no action)

I fished Club Comp at Jackie Leonard this past weekend.

During the day it was warm but as soon as the sun went down it got very 🥶.

Jackie delivered and I managed to weigh in 40 🐟 for 11.795 kg which earned me a 1st place under the Masters 💪

•Half a SNAKE WORM with BUNSPICE 101 floaty and a small SWD above the worm

I fished Club Comp the weekend at Kollege Plaas (River Side)

The weather was great but when the sun went down the "mozzies" came out to feed. I looked like a "Vaseline Baby" with all the Tabat on but it did not stop them 🫣

Tried different combos but there was only one combo that worked best.

Came 2nd in the Masters with 15 fish for 9.070 kg

Combo:
• BASS + & CARAMEL + (XF)

Hook bait:
• CARAMEL XF AIROS with SWD
• HALF a SNAKE WORM with SWG OOZING FLOATY and peace of SWD above the Worm

Feed:
• LL SIGNATURE SERIES GROUND FEED mixed with FEEDER FEED & GRIT

Distances:
• Deep Rod - Open Spool
- Shallow Rod didn't deliver and changed it to a Semi Open Spool 😉

Rigs:
• RIETVLEI GLY
• HYBRID (GLY BOERSTROP)
