Muratie Melck’s Red Blend 2021
Steeped in history, Muratie Estate is one of South Africa’s oldest wine farms, dating back to 1685, and is home to inspiring stories of pioneering women. The estate honours figures such as Ansela van de Caab, one of the Cape’s earliest free women, whose resilience and legacy remain an important part of Muratie’s heritage. Blended Red 2021 is a blend of Merlot (46%), Cabernet Sauvignon (32%), Cabernet Franc (17%) and Shiraz (5%). It is sourced entirely from the estate and while unpretentious, it is wellcrafted with its soft tannins, bright red berries, hints of white pepper and chocolate from careful oaking. Pairs wonderfully with robust, savoury meals, like hearty Italian cuisine.
Bosman Nero Rosé
The Bosman Nero Rosé is crafted by Corlea Fourie, Bosman Family Vineyards’ Chief Winemaker. Corlea is one of South Africa’s most respected female winemakers, recognised for pioneering South Africa’s first commercial Nero wines. Delicate pale salmon hue. Elegant,
perfumed aromas of stone fruit with a hint of white flower
blossoms. A crisp acidity with zesty pomegranate flavours,
followed by a silky elegance on the mid-palate and finishing with a hint of red berry fruit. Nero Rosé is the ideal aperitif and pairs well with sushi or tuna tartare, pan-seared salmon and asparagus or light pastas.
Casal Garcia Vinho Verde
Smooth, fruity and cheerful, produced in Portugal’s picturesque Vinho Verde region, this lively wine embodies the Portuguese spirit of alegria— meaning joy. It is made to be shared, whether you’re hosting a brunch, or simply raising a glass to friendship. From basket to bottle it is a wine that stands out for its freshness, aromas of citrus and tropical fruits. Ideal with sushi, chicken, seafood or picnics.
