“What is the use of a house if you haven’t got a tolerable planet to put it on?” - Henry David Thoreau
The ocean is my HOME—my refuge, my playground, my breath, the place where I feel whole and held.
But here’s the question: how do we care for what belongs to us? Do we trash it? Do we toss what’s broken into our neighbour’s yard and call it done? Or do we honour it, protect it, and keep it alive for the next breath, the next wave, the next soul who calls it home too?
