When bass are holding shallow around heavy cover like brush and lily pads, the Cullem Pro Series 5-inch Fingerling and Hornet are absolute killers. Rig the Fingerling on a pegged Texas rig to slide cleanly through thick vegetation and lily pads without snagging and fish the Hornet on a 1/16 oz nail weight. This setup is ideal for pitching directly into dense brush, providing a slow, subtle fall that triggers aggressive reaction strikes.
