Meet our new neighbours! 🌿 A Cape Town favourite, born on Kloof Street, has found a new home right next door to AAFRICAA in The Alfred — and we couldn’t be happier to welcome them. Think old style decor, lots of greenery, a wonderful homely feel and modern comfort… now with what might just be the best view of Table Mountain in the city. Look out for their bright yellow umbrellas along the quayside on a sunny day or snuggle inside when that South Easter howls. We’re delighted to have them next door. Come and say hello to both of us. 💚

Lamu has always stayed with us. The colours, the texture, the beautiful simplicity of its architecture, the carved plasterwork, intricate details and that wonderful feeling of life moving at a slower pace. It’s a place where African design feels completely at home. So when we were designing our store, we found ourselves returning to Lamu — to its white tones, natural materials, carved textures and relaxed, lived-in beauty. A little bit of Lamu, interpreted in our own way. Come and wander with us.
