✨ Welcome to our new BAs, Carmen & Flopsy✨

We’re so excited to welcome Carmen Kerschbaumer to the Nuzzles family 🐴💜

Carmen is a professional dressage rider and horse trainer with a passion for developing relaxed, confident and happy horses, which, as you can imagine, immediately spoke to us!

She has trained and competed up to Small Tour level, earning Western Province colours with her first heart horse, Southcross Adwina, whom she produced herself. Today, she competes with her equine soulmate and best friend, Cheval Dansant Berceuse aka Flopsy, with highlights including winning the 2026 Elementary DSA Challenge in the Western Cape and the Young Horse Championships in both 2025 and 2026. ✨

But as always, it’s not just the results that made us feel Carmen was a perfect fit for Nuzzles.

With extensive experience working with young horses, Carmen understands the importance of building trust and creating positive associations in training.

Carmen says:
"Positive reinforcement is the core part of my approach. I use treats as a reward or simply to strengthen the relationship between horse and rider."

And that is VERY Nuzzles. 💜

We believe horses perform at their best when they’re responding from a place of calm, confidence and enthusiasm — and we love having a rider and trainer on our team who shares that philosophy.

We're thrilled to welcome Lauren Miller to the Nuzzles family 🐴💜

Lauren is a professional rider, trainer and coach based in the Western Cape, and horses have been at the centre of her life for as long as she can remember.

While she now mainly competes in dressage, she's also no stranger to the show jumping arena and proudly admits to once being a "wild eventer!" 😜

Her absolute heart horse, Callaho Rinaldo, has been by her side through so much, and together they've built the kind of partnership we admire so deeply.

But what really drew us to Lauren wasn't just her experience. It was her outlook.

Lauren says:
"What I love most about horses is the partnership they teach us to build. Every horse is an individual, and I enjoy the process of learning how each one thinks and communicates."

✨ Meet Our Next Nuzzles Ambassador ✨

We're so excited to welcome Jade Deacon to the Nuzzles family 🐴💜

Jade is a Western Cape-based dressage rider, coach, judge, and equestrian professional who has dedicated most of her life to horses. Passionate about developing both horses and riders, she believes every horse is an individual and enjoys understanding their unique character, what motivates them, and how they thrive within their chosen discipline.

Few people experience the sport from as many perspectives as Jade. As a rider, coach and dressage judge, she not only develops horses herself but also has the privilege of recognising and rewarding great horsemanship from the judges' box.

Jade says:
"I believe a happy, healthy horse starts from the inside out. Supporting gut health and overall wellbeing is at the heart of my approach, knowing that when horses feel their best physically and mentally, they can truly reach their full potential."

That thoughtful approach, together with her commitment to continually learning and contributing to the growth of equestrian sport, makes Jade such a wonderful fit for the Nuzzles family.

We're so excited to introduce Charlotte Valentine to the Nuzzles family 🐴💜

At just 14 years old, Charlotte is already making her mark in the equestrian world, competing in open dressage and showing, while also enjoying a bit of jumping.

What's even more special is that Charlotte has been an avid supporter of Nuzzles from day one. Long before we launched our ambassador programme, she was cheering us on, supporting our small business, and sharing our belief that horses deserve healthier, more thoughtful treats.

But what stood out to us wasn't just her riding.
It's her outlook on horses.

Charlotte says:
