Two years ago in the heart of a pandemic, in the heart of level 3 lockdown I started a business. I started when many were crumbling. I began this journey with R2500 and donations from family and friends. I started regardless of all the odds. I had befokte mense who supported and who still support my dream.
I took the step of signing a lease for 2 years and by the grace of God I made it each month.
It wasn't easy, there were days when I wanted give up, I said f**k this! Then there were days when I could donate to the less fortunate up until Darling and Swellendam. There were days when I could give discounts to almost all my clients.
Tomorrow morning I will sign my paperwork to end my lease at my current location. However with this I will only be moving to a new location.
I've come a long way, I have met amazing and loyal clients whom I trust will continue with me on this journey.
Mense is fokken rof hier buite! Som support jou ander nie! But if there's one thing I've learned in recent weeks... There is no use in looking around you. Kap net aan!
