Sometimes the job is simply getting the pots where they need to be. 🌱🚜

Collecting the 10 cm pots, loading them onto the tractor and off they go to their next stop around the nursery.

We may not get to see where they’re headed… but there’s always plenty happening behind the scenes at Shadowlands. 👋🌿

Before planting, our team prepares each cutting by trimming back some of the leaves.

This helps reduce transpiration (water loss through the leaves), helping the cutting conserve moisture while it establishes itself and develops roots.

It’s one of the many small but important steps that help give our plants the best possible start. 🌿

Garden Day is coming! 🌱

On 18 October 2026, we celebrate the gardens, plants and green spaces that bring so much life to our everyday surroundings. 🌿

Whether you’re growing a whole garden or simply caring for a few favourite plants, Garden Day is the perfect reminder to get outside, get your hands dirty and enjoy the garden. 💚

Celebrate your garden. Celebrate growing. 🌸

After all the planting, potting and moving of plants, a good sweep clears away the loose soil and keeps everything looking neat and tidy.

It’s one of those little behind-the-scenes jobs that makes a big difference. 🌱✨
