KAESU OHIRA

Ohira is designed to optimize the cranking technique for medium-sized big baits. Its high-profile, flat body produces a strong, wobble-focused action without excessive rolling, simulating a natural baitfish. The original tail's subtle side-to-side oscillation upon ascent realistically mimics the behavior of rising bluegill or bream, triggering strikes even during pauses or when recovering from snags. The wide range of motion at the joint enables a variety of presentations, including the popular subsurface dog walking technique. A reload weight system allows anglers to fine-tune buoyancy and diving depth, providing versatile coverage from the surface down to 2.8 meters. Ohira is designed to entice bass in every situation, from casting and cranking to pauses, and is a testament to the effectiveness of big bait cranking.
