When a stationery trend takes over the world, you know it’s been done to the max! I just never really got on board with the overkill lace trend.
Although there are so many incredible pieces out there, I’ve always felt that when something becomes that much of a trend, you need to find a way to do it differently, while still staying true to you.
So when the time came for me to try the lace trend, my mind immediately went:
“Everyone says lace… but why not lace flowers?”
“Even better, why not layer lace in different forms?”
And so I did just that.
A little lace trim, lace flowers, delicate texture and a few pearls, all layered together to create something that feels romantic and a little unexpected.
Did I manage to make it lace-y, but still very much House of Papier?
