Our Story

Originally situated in Rondebosch, Protea Books Cape Town moved to it’s current location on Sir Lowry Road in August of 2017

Specialising in academic and school textbooks, and stationery, Protea has recently expanded their range to include electronics (such as laptop deals, cellphones, tablets and various other peripherals), non-book products (Magic: the Gathering, Pokemon, as well as a variety of other boardgames) and a wide range of general and children’s titles.

With plans in the future for game days, children’s readings and a whole host of other events, it is definitely worth keeping an eye on the page.
