🌾 The Jana Linen Step Top 🌾

There’s a summer that lives beyond the beach. Past the last dune, where the road turns inland; Through vineyards, past farm stalls, into the quiet of the countryside. It’s a slower kind of season, one we keep coming back to, even as we always find our way back to the ocean too.

The Jana Top belongs to that in-between. Soft cotton poplin, cut with a relaxed, sleeveless ease. A Mandarin collar with gentle ruching at the neckline. A step hem that falls longer at the back, moving with you, through open farm gates, along quiet roads, wherever the day takes you.

Heritage is what we inherit, what we nurture, and what we choose to carry forward 🇿🇦

This is a rare moment for us, hearing Hans tell, in his own voice and his own words, what the heritage of Just Cruizin means to him.

He speaks about family. About our wonderful staff. About this country. And about the eight years he spent away from South Africa as a young man , years that quietly shaped his love of clothing, cloth and textiles.

When he eventually came home, he started again.

No grand plan. No big machinery.

A pair of scissors, beautiful raw cotton, and an idea.

He began cutting oversized white cotton shirts.

And, quite simply, Just Cruizin began.

There is something about that beginning that still feels so much like us today, uncomplicated, honest, comfortable and real.

Hans, thank you for your vision.

You have always kept things simple. You followed your heart, trusted your instincts and did what felt right to you.

And somehow, from those first white cotton shirts, a little piece of our South African clothing heritage was created….one that has grown through the hands of so many extraordinary people over the years.

Our makers. Our staff. Our family. Our customers. Our community.

That, to us, is heritage.

Not simply what came before us, but what we care for now and what we leave for those who come after us.
