“The weather in 2023 raised many an eyebrow—two back-to-back low pressure systems, 8-meter swells and a few freak 12s. Waves crashing across the bow, wet helmsmen, and crew trying to reheat pre-cooked meals in a rocking galley—it was a true seaman’s test. And it bonded us like family.”

From rounding Agulhas to the legendary Tshisa Nyama feast in Mossel Bay, and on to warm days of laughter and activities in Knysna—this rally blends challenge with celebration. It’s about friendship, support, and unforgettable stories traded by firelight and starlight.
