Urgo Back Care Innovations Urgo Back Care Innovations was created in January 2011. Our products are locally manufactured, and use locally available materials (excluding chair mechanisms).

This arose from our 19 years in the office furniture industry, and realising the need for ergonomically correct seating in the office and home environment. The Canadian Medical Journal states that “a premium back support is probably your most important purchase, ergonomically speaking, since approximately 70% of all employees work while sitting.”
We offer a holistic approach to back care in the

workplace, at home and in your vehicle. It has always been our vision to sell chairs and associated back care products that would meet the high standards of a professional ergonomic assessment, and, in so doing, prevent the onset of lower back problems at a later stage. Valuable input has been gained through consultation with Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Chiropractors. In addition to the significant input from professionals, further extensive research is continually carried out; both in South Africa and overseas, enabling us to upgrade our products to meet current world standards. We can therefore supply products that equal or better international standards
