NOW OPEN✨
Fashion design Thabo Makhetha’s new exhibition Head Spaces is now open at Made In RSA until the end of May.
Headspaces opened as an intimate exhibition and gathering, bringing together creatives, designers, cultural practitioners, and friends of the work in a space defined by familiarity, dialogue, and shared reflection.

The exhibition begins with a central portrait painting created in 2021, the original work that sparked the Headspaces concept and shaped the body of work now presented five years later. From this anchor point, visitors are guided through a series of wearable sculptures and

Headpieces exploring identity, adornment, movement, and memory.

Presented during Africa Month this May, the exhibition extends into a programme of public activations, including curated walkabouts on Wednesdays, Friday, and the following Wednesday, as well as a Sip & Paint experience on the final Friday of the month. These events offer expanded ways to engage with the work and its themes of African creativity, expression, and contemporary dialogue.
