Women are mothers. Our role within the home and the society is to nurture, train, guide and educate. To uplift others so that they can be their best they can be and to reach their potential. We undertake various roles in our lives, as individuals, at a social, societal and institutional levels.

We should always be mindful of our words, how we speak to ourselves and how we speak to others . May our words
Proverbs 25:11 says, ‘A word swiftly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver.
Proverbs 15:1- A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.
James 1:19 - swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath

My prayer for each one of us in our different roles is that: May we refrain from careless and unhelpful comments. May the Almighty guide and guard our words. May our words reflect our hearts and be well-chosen, kind and edifying.

Women’s Month Theme: WE for Gender Equality and Gender Inclusive Society

During this month we are hosting a series of meetings and podcasts around the theme, WE for Gender Equality and Gender Inclusive Society. The purpose of these events is to facilitate the discussion of the individual and collective understanding of gender equality and inclusivity. The aim is to create a platform for a reflection on the current practices at individual, society, corporate and all other environments to determine if they support the theme.

Through these discussions we test our understanding of the concepts and beliefs to determine if they support the transformation that is required to achieve gender equality and inclusivity goals. We facilitate self-reflection so that participants can identify areas that need to transform starting with the self to contribute to efforts.

The themes of the events are centered around; understanding gender equality and inclusivity; religious and spiritual approaches to the concepts; a case for change (perceptions and practices), becoming an agent for change, from separation to oneness and awakening the goddess warrior.

(6) starchy products

C. Four things to increase in your foods:
(1) Greens/vegetables
(2) beans
(3) fruits
(4) nuts

D. Three things you need to forget:
(1) Your age 😮
(2) your past 🤔
(3) your grievances 👍🏽

E. Four things you must have, no matter how weak or how strong you are:
(1) Friends who truly love you
(2) caring family
(3) positive thoughts
