During a business meeting in February 2016, I had a light stroke (TIA). Feeling humiliated and embarrassed afterwards, not realizing at the time, that it was the start of Sexy Crockery! All my life I have been a left brain person – logical, analytical, and objective – definitely NO creative thinking! That night I woke up at 2am with images of sexy designed dinner plates, so real I could touch it,
racing through my head. The original Sexy Crockery designs (lady in red, lady in pink and my blue eye guy) were taking shape in my non-creative mind. The name of the business seemed obvious – Sexy Crockery! Talking to the family and friends about my sleepless, though thoughtful nights, I was surprised by the excited response. Two weeks later, Sexy Crockery was registered as a company. A year later after much research, training and trying, Sexy Crockery moved into factory offices! Following burnt plates, powder plates, broken plates and any other thing that can go wrong with a plate, we were ready, geared up to go public! Still a bit concerned whether or not someone would actually buy my dinnerware, I realized that the ‘left brain’ girl in me left with the stroke on that lucky day in February 2016. Somehow somewhere something in me changed, making me happier person! Therefore, with each plate, cup or bowl you will find a piece of my soul. Here is to many happy hours, weeks, months and years of fun, sexy and inspired dining. B
