Once in a Lifetime. There is no questioning of the fact that an achievement of this nature is worthy of preservation under glass.
One of the areas we specialize in is plotting the layout of a memorabilia multi. Here, surface interest is added by placing some pieces in formal cutouts in combination with others laid on foam board & floated on the backing mount to create a soft shadow edge.

Know that feeling when waking to current news headlines ...
Here the theatrical style of Oniji gestures is precisely captured by artist Sharaku during a performance in Edo in 1794. The jutting head and splayed hands of the character, Yakko Edobei - a conspirator, in the Kabuki play, are typical of the era.
Artist Toshusai Sharaku was himself an enigma, his true name, date of birth & death unknown.
In befitting style the piece is elegantly framed in a double mount, picking up on the flesh tones & a multi-ledged profile, coffee bean in colour, with an inner hint of copper.

Wild Celebration! Recently we framed a composite of 20 canvases - a celebration of staff initiative at Sanbona Wildlife Reserve. Getting it there in one piece was quite something. Today their initiative has resulted in the birth of the first Cape Mountain Zebra of a mixed gene pool of Cradock & Gamkaberg herds - a double celebration!
