Darlings on the Stoep — Come Wonder Through Darling

Something special is coming to Darling on Saturday, 19 September…

We will be Introducing Darlings on the Stoep — a unique boutique market experience bringing together some of our wonderful local businesses, talented makers, creatives and entrepreneurs.

Instead of one traditional market venue, Darlings on the Stoep invites you to wander through our village, discovering carefully selected stalls hosted on the stoep and premises of participating Darling businesses.

Take your time. Follow the black and white banners. Pop into the businesses along the way, browse the beautiful stalls, meet the people behind the brands and enjoy everything that makes Darling such a special little dorpie.

And this is just the beginning…

Evita Se Perron Bakery is a bakery of high-quality rusks and biscuits. We pride ourselves on our commitment to quality and sustainability and job creation. The company has a vacancy for an Admin Clerk to join our team. If you thrive in a fast paste environment, have a passion for finance and confectionary, we want to hear from you.

Job Requirements:
• Matric with relevant tertiary qualification (suitable degree/diploma with of 3-5 years working experience)
• Proficiency in MS Office, Sage Accounting and Payroll, SARS submissions
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a team and handle multiple tasks effectively
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Key Responsibilities:
• Enter transactions into accounting systems accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Sales team assistance and invoicing responsibility in a telesales role
• Provide general administrative support to the finance department, including scheduling meetings and managing correspondence.
• Assist with other finance-related tasks and projects as assigned by management.
