Description kEY PERFORMANCE AREAS :

Start-up and run machine to required specification speed

Perform hourly quality checks and record checks in machine record book

Change paper reel and join paper to web for reel change

Wipe printing plates clean as required

Check level of ink in duct and top up as required

Check level of side seam and bottom glues and top up as required

Perform basic lubrication of machine parts as per lubrication schedule

Important Company-up and maintain machines, tools, equipment and work areas to ensure proper functioning and safe working conditions, so as to achieve maximum output and minimal waste

Adjust controls to start, stop inery and equipment

Fine tuning and troubleshooting on machines

Ordering of raw material ink, glue, paper etc.

Assisting in forming boxes

Unloading and loading of print cylinders

Demounting and mounting of stereos

Wash up demounted stereos

Setting of print

Checking and maintaining of viscosity

Setting of photo cell

Cleaning of print cylinders

Inspect raw materials for defects and ensure conformance to specification

Weigh and record machine waste letion of the shift

Report any quality issues to the Shift Technician immediately

Report any machine problems to the Shift Technician immediately

Ensure area around machine is swept of the shift

Running machine to be handed over to the next shift

Wash up ink trays

Wrapping of full pallets with cling wrap.

The main purpose of this position is to ensure that all head office buildings of the South African Reserve Bank (SARB) are always kept clean and hygienic.

Detailed Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key performance areas:
· Provide support to the Team Leader: Cleaning Services and ensure a well-coordinated cleaning service for the SARB.
· Deliver high-quality work in cleaning services, which includes to:
- assume floor supervisor function related to cleaning for night shifts;

- execute cleaning functions as per schedule;

- monitor pest control activities;

- ensure ex*****on of preventative and corrective maintenance in relation to

cleaning activities (that includes carpets, fumigation and toilets/ablutions); and

- provide relief duties related to cleaning.

· Display service orientation when interacting with stakeholders.

· Engage positively with colleagues and stakeholders in one-on-one and/or in meetings.

· Comply with the expected standards and procedures for completion of tasks/activities.

· Place requests for cleaning consumables and equipment.

· Report and log service requests for maintenance-related issues.

· Write cleaning and inspection reports.

· Monitor the delivery, usage and stock level of cleaning consumables.
