Our online store is officially open for business.

You can now start pre-ordering your dahlia tubers and gladiolus corms for the new season. Dahlia orders will be shipped from early October, and gladiolus corms can be shipped together with your dahlia order so everything arrives ready for your summer garden.

A sea of chrysanthemums and a very big job ahead of me.

I have officially started documenting all my heirloom mum varieties. It feels a little daunting when I look at how many there are, but these old beauties deserve to be named, recorded, and remembered properly.

This is the start of something special.

This beautiful variety was bred by South African dahlia breeder Cyril Higgo in Pinelands, Cape Town. There is something extra special about holding a flower with roots so close to home, a little piece of South African dahlia history in full colour.

Soft, fluffy, ridiculously pink, and wearing the most perfect name possible: Hollyhill Cotton Candy.

I saw her this morning and honestly thought, well yes… whoever named this girl understood the assignment. Because there could not be a more fitting name for a bloom that looks this sweet, this airy, and this delightfully delicious.

She is pure pink fluff, and I am completely obsessed.

PEOPLE OF NAMIBIA — welcome to the Love Dahlias family.

We are so excited to share that Love Dahlias now also has a Namibia store, where you will soon be able to order dahlia tubers grown in Namibian soil.

For a long time, dahlias have been difficult to find in Namibia, and good cut flower seeds have also been a scarce commodity. That is exactly why this new chapter matters so much to us. We want to make it easier for Namibian gardeners and flower lovers to get access to beautiful flowers grown with their local conditions in mind.

Our Love Dahlias Namibia stock will start loading in April 2026, and we cannot wait to share it with you. This will include a selected range of dahlia tubers as well as cut flower seeds for gardeners who want to grow beauty at home or start cutting flowers from their own patch.

We are incredibly excited about this step and so grateful to be able to grow into Namibia in a meaningful way.
