We are expanding our team and currently have 3 positions available at our busy furniture manufacturing workshop based in The Bluff, Durban.
WORKSHOP FOREMAN – 1 POSITION
We are looking for a strong, hands-on Workshop Foreman who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities include:
• Overseeing and managing workshop staff
• Ensuring jobs are completed on time and to the required standard
• Managing daily workflow and production schedules
• Coordinating logistics and deliveries
• Ordering and managing materials
• Liaising professionally with clients
• Problem-solving and keeping production moving efficiently
Requirements:
• Previous experience supervising or managing a team is essential
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Valid driver’s licence
• Carpentry/furniture manufacturing experience would be a strong advantage
GENERAL WORKERS – 2 POSITIONS
We are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals to join our workshop team.
Requirements:
• Experience working with hand and power tools
• Comfortable working in a workshop/manufacturing environment
• Carpentry or furniture-making experience would be an advantage
• Reliable, willing to learn and able to work as part of a team
