So.. It's been awhile! Boy alot has happened!
We've been quiet, taking stock, the last 2 years have been a journey for most people, and the world looks so different to what it did.
Norms have changed, perspectives have shifted, priorities have become clearer.
Quinns, for those of you who don't know, was born out of necessity. I found myself, a working mom of 2 having the carpet wiped out from underneath me. I was retrenched from my job, along with so many others. It was a scary time, as the chances of finding something else when everybody was letting people go, not taking people on, needing to get creative with how to keep the wolves from the door!
Quinns was an idea that spoke to a place I am in my life, with my 2 small kids, feed my creativity in a way that I had never been able to pursue, and expanded my experience into areas I had never gone, in terms of owning and running a business.
It worked out well, I started and through lots of blood, sweat and tears, and an enormous amount of support from those around me, I created a purpose that was so much more than work.
That was until opportunity came knocking again as the world slowly came out of its Covid - coma.
I was extremely fortunate to be offered a job, that I couldn't turn down. So the last 11 months have been a personal exploration and expansion in a different way, learning a new position and finding myself again in a corporate world.
Quinns never down tools, I have been keeping it bubbling over in the background, but needed time to focus on getting my feet back underneath me.
But its time to dust off things and get back in touch with you!
So here we are! You won't hear from us as often, but we are here and we are going to be making some changes, so stayed tuned, we are coming back at you!
