Dear Scrappers,
I hope you are all well and still enjoying the craft of scrapping!!

Well, from the date of my last post advertising a my last sale to this post, it is almost 2 years since I left Durban. I have to tell you all that I miss teaching classes, I miss chatting with you all and I miss my studio. It has been nothing but work, work, work and I have not even had a chance to attempt even "a" single page layout :-( Which brings me to the point of this post.
With the hopes of starting up again in CT, I have been very fortunate in getting assistance with storage of my paper stands from my ever helpful and trusted friend Janet Offer, my lovely student and friend Kathy Knowles, who sadly has passed away and now Esme Magnussen, over the last two years. With storage costs so high here not to mention the cost of moving my items, I have decided to sell these stands.
Should anyone wish to purchase a paper stand for their papers, I am selling a 50 pce stand for R650 (I have 8 in white) and a 60 piece stand for R750 (I have 2 in gunmetal) and a 90 pce for R950 (in white).
In addition to this, I have 3 wooden peg board pieces, with a nice finish and pegboards on both sides - for R980 each.

Hi all you scrappers!! SALE ALERT!! This Saturday, 9th June, I am having a massive, "say goodbye to Scraps from Heaven" sale. All items less 40%. Hello all you avid scrapbookers!! Lindy has awoken from a deep slumber and ready to rock n roll once again. Actually, I have had time to do some of my OWN scrapbooking, so I now have some great page layouts to teach you.

Amongst other things - I have some fab novelty ribbons that have come in (actually bought them in Australia), new PINK cutting boards, some gorgeous new titles from Fabscraps...some photos attached.

Thankyou to all you beautiful ladies who attended my 'Sherry, Christmas Pie, Shortbread' afternoon. The afternoon was a wild success and it was great to see some of you whom I have not seen for a while. My thanks only out now that I am here in Perth as I simply did not have time as I was leaving the next day. Thankyou for your support and I will see you in the New Year.

Acid and Lignin free: what is Lignin?
Lignin is a natural substance which occurs in plants. When wood is broken down into paper, lignin may exist as a residue. If left in the paper or board, it may cause it to break down over time.

Journalling: I get asked all the time..."do I have to journal?". Well it's really up to you but hopefully these few words will help.
Without pictures, our words will still be valued by our descendants a hundred years from now BUT without words, the pictures will be meaningless...
