Reel Machine Reel Machine is a proudly South African brand. The Reel Machine 9" features an absolute beast of a handle – 4x Strong. Reel Machine. Buy once. Fish forever.

Born from the passion of two lifelong anglers, Robbie and Mark, who refused to settle for anything less than perfection. After years of fishing and seeing reels fail under tough South African conditions, they set out to design the ultimate 9" Scarborough-style Ski-Boat reel – one that combines elite performance, bullet-proof durability and genuine pride of ownership. The result is the Reel Machine 9": a no-compromise reel injection-moulded from 30% glass-filled nylon for insane strength at a fraction of the weight of traditional reels. Every piece of steel is marine-grade 316 stainless (except the SKF 304 bearings), ensuring it laughs at rust even after seasons of heavy salt-water abuse. Exponentially stronger than anything else on the market. Crank in big fish all day without a hint of fatigue. This isn’t just a handle… it’s a statement. With a perfectly engineered, centred & universal bracket that fits 90% of rods on the market has a line-lay that stacks braid or mono centre on the spool, this is the reel that simply refuses to break. Built for the hardest fighting fish on our coast the widow maker themselves (Yellow Tail) – yet light and balanced enough to fish all day without fatigue. Proudly designed and made in South Africa – for South Africa and beyond.
