๐ฐ Cake โ Yarn wound into a flat-sided cylinder, often designed for easy centre-pull use.
๐งต Cone โ Yarn wound onto a cone, commonly used for weaving, machine knitting or larger quantities.
๐ชข Hank โ A large loop of yarn that needs to be wound before use.
๐ Folded Hank โ A hank folded neatly for packaging and storage.
๐ Twisted Hank โ A hank thatโs been twisted into the familiar shape often used for hand-dyed yarn.
๐ฆ Skein โ Yarn wound into an oblong shape, ready to use.
๐งถ Pull Skein โ A skein designed to be pulled from the centre.
